Laguna Beach Firm is One of Two Southern California Marketing Companies Recognized in National Report
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — March 16, 2006 — Young Company, a Laguna Beach, California-based marketing communications firm, has been named to the BtoB Magazine’s annual list of the top 75 business-to-business advertising agencies.
The Laguna Beach firm was one of two southern California marketing companies recognized in the national report that appeared in the magazine’s March 13 issue. To compile the list, BtoB editors evaluated agencies across the country based on current work and past experience. Agencies must provide full-service marketing communications services, with an emphasis on advertising, to be included on the list.
Young Company’s extensive B-to-B experience, including more than 50 years of turning innovators into market leaders, led to its inclusion on the magazine’s list. Young Company recently reopened as an independent advertising, public relations and Internet marketing agency with seven employees and clients IBM Tivoli, Seiko Instruments, Parco High Performance Seals, Toyo Tires, MWS Wire Industries and Walter’s Automotive Group of Riverside. In October of 2003, Young Company was merged into The Phelps Group, a mid-sized LA-based independent agency that has been nationally recognized as a leader in integrated marketing communications.
