Changing Tides – May 2015

Open House
Celebrating the 4th Dimension

After fifteen years of bumping chairs, and suffering the long lines outside our unisex restroom, Young Company has decided to make a move. We are adding much needed office space on the floor above us at 361 Forest Avenue in the heart of downtown Laguna Beach. Please join us at our open house on June 4 to help us celebrate the ‘space’ part of the space-time continuum.

As Baltimore smolders and Nepal grieves in the wake of their devastating earthquake, I cannot help but feel deeply blessed to live in this corner of the United States. As if the good weather and positive economic climate were not enough, we continue to enjoy one of the safest communities in the world today.

Why Brand Marketers Should Load Up on GIFs
If you’re running a media campaign, better load up on GIFs – and plenty of them. GIFs, of course, are those easily transmittable image files that seem to be showing up everywhere. And with good reason.
Customer Service Remolded for Mobile
Courtesy, timeliness, and dependability … all major considerations for the average customer service department. But more and more, these goals will be managed in a whole new way. It’s all due to the proliferation of mobile devices.
Sing the Big Data Song to Your Customers
You’ve got it. Now what will you do with it? You know, that jittering jumble of Big Data piled high in your secret vaults. Far too many of you brand marketers are stymied when it comes to spinning this raw material into something useful.
