Tustin, CA, March 8, 2001
The Business Marketing Association (BMA) has awarded its national Pro-Comm Award for the “Best of Division” in the Total Communications Program division to Young Company, a Santa Monica, California business-to-business marketing communications agency. The award, given for exceptional business-to-business marketing communications, recognizes Young Company’s integrated marketing campaign for TDK Semiconductor located in Tustin, CA. Pro-Comm is the world’s largest and most challenging business-to-business competition. More than 1,000 entries were received in 38 categories. 22 judges spent two long days evaluating submitted work for concept, execution and communications objectives. The Best of Division is one of the most prestigious awards bestowed at this ceremony.
The winning campaign carries a consistent branding theme which emphasizes “connectivity” in its graphics solution, yet is adapted to specific product messages. Components of the campaign include advertising, magazine outserts, website and a target account penetration program using dimensional mail. “TDK Semiconductor was delighted to learn of this honor,” said Mark Jorgensen, Director of Corporate Communications at TDK Semiconductor. “It’s a tribute to our advertising agency, the Young Company, who’s creative and account team management has produced outstanding work for us for over a decade.”
