Young Company Turns on Gammalux Website - November 15, 2008

Laguna Beach agency launches new website for high-tech lighting company

Young Company of Laguna Beach, CA has launched an entirely new website for Gammalux Systems. The site may be viewed at www.gammalux.com. Featuring stunning corporate offices, libraries and other commercial locations, the website is a testament to the quality of design and craftsmanship that place Gammalux at the top of leading commercial architect’s wish lists for ultra high-tech florescent lighting.

Combining php and flash programming, the site is the ultimate balance between style and function. The flash is used to showcase prestige properties on the home page and to simulate the flicker of a florescent light each time a new page is opened. The site includes an image library for architects to build presentations and a number of original Gammalux designs that compliment a wide range of décor.

For search, the site utilizes a limited list of well-researched key words and phrases in a number of ways.

Delighted with the new website, Gammalux has asked Young Company to prepare an e-commerce site that will navigate directly from Gammalux’s home page. This portion of the site operates under a separate URL and features a virtual cost calculator that allows their Agents to step into the middle of the RFQ and adjust the total amount up or down. This in turn will affect their commission. When completed, this ecommerce site will host more than 1,000 products.

The new section called Gammalux Express Products is expected to open for business by May 1, 2009.

About Gammalux

Gammalux Systems was established in 1987 with the goal of producing the best luminaire systems in the industry. Two generations of the Incikaya family, each with more than 20 years experience in linear lighting design and production, are actively involved. The owners of the company as well as many of its employees have been manufacturing extruded aluminum fluorescent luminaire systems for more than 25 years. All products are produced to order at the company’s San Dimas facility.

Best known for its G-Beam series, Gammalux Systems has created products that are designed to integrate with any space. Long, clean, sharp-cornered lines are designed with the idea of a simple, minimalist look that delivers light where it needs to be. These light sources also take full advantage of newer T5 and T5 high-output lamps and ballasts.
