SANTA MONICA, CA – The Young Company has added another new member to their team, capturing Sara Waddington, former assistant to Dr. C. Everett Koop, as assistant account executive in public relations.

The last few months have been busy at the Young Company, having added new clients to the agency’s impressive roster. “With our client list growing by leaps and bounds – we’re thrilled to have Sara’s talent added to the team,” said Bart Young, CEO of Young Company.

Prior to joining the Young Company, Sara maintained press relations for the former Surgeon General in Washington, DC. Her writing and communications experience also includes a two-year stint on Capitol Hill as a legislative correspondent for U.S. Senator Jon Kyl. Sara’s unique political communications background gives her the ability to assess the huge impact the media’s role has on public persuasion. She holds a BA in political science from the University of Arizona.

“Sara’s experience handling high-level press and constituent relations complements our media relations team nicely,” said Sandy O’Toole, Public Relations Account Supervisor. “We look forward to channeling her talents toward the success of our clients.”

Young Company’s roster includes such high profile accounts as Texas Instruments, TDK Semiconductor, Smartflex Systems, Marconi Astronics, and WebVision, among others. Headquartered in Santa Monica, CA, Young Company is a full-service, integrated business communications agency offering brand development, advertising, Internet and direct marketing, public relations and strategic consulting services.
