6 Reasons You Should Be Investing in Your Website

6 Reasons You Should Be Investing in Your Website

1. Like Norm’s…It’s Always Open

Like most people, I’m not a huge fan of taking sales (or customer service) calls at 11:30pm. But with a website, you can have forums and documentation at your customers’ fingertips, ALWAYS. This way, customers can access the information they need, when THEY want. Most people understand that phone lines aren’t open 24/7, but they do expect to be have the avenue to contact if needed. Without a contact form/forum/chat, how do you know how to solve your customers’ issues when they arise?

2. Your #1 Competitor Already Does

What is your competition doing right now? Do they have a strong social presence with a slick-looking website? I can bet they are probably driving targeted traffic to a landing page, and gaining leads on a daily basis.  And if they aren’t…Why aren’t you doing that??

3. Always Evolve Your Insights

Metrics are great and necessary. But if you aren’t gaining new insights on a daily/weekly basis, you could be severely missing out on some opportunities.  If customers visit a certain page, you can offer those customers relevant information, but you’ll never know unless you have a website set up with tracking. Never settle for what worked in the past, because your competitors aren’t.

4. You Are Leaving Sales on the Table

Does your website have re-targeting technology developed into it? Without it, you are definitely missing out on sales. Not everyone is ready to buy/contact on the first site visit. But with retargeting cookies set up, you can later offer these site visitors an advert that shows EXACTLY what they already viewed.  If you like warmed up leads…you should be investing in your website.

5. Things Change…and Get Better

Technology is obviously evolving. But can your website keep up with the changes? Is your website responsive? Does it serve a great user experience no matter what device is used? We exclusively use WordPress to develop sites because of the flexibility. We can build ANY kind of site, from e-commerce to blog-based, in about half the time of a normal “by-hand” development.

6. You Have a Single Presence…Make It Count!

What do YOU think when you visit a website for the first time? You instantly decide the caliber of the company based on what you see and how you interact. And most times, this is the only chance you’ll have to “wow” your potential customer.
