Young Company Wins Award of Excellence in the Prestigious Pro-Comm Awards for Velocium Public Relations Campaign - April 23, 2003

The Business Marketing Association has awarded its national Pro-Comm Award of Excellence in the Public Relations Campaign division to Young Company, the Los Angeles-based business-to-business marketing communications agency. The award, given for exceptional business-to-business marketing communications, recognizes Young Company’s public relations campaign for Velocium, part of Northrop Grumman Space Technology (formerly TRW Space & Electronics) located in El Segundo, California. Ranked as one of the advertising industry’s premier award programs, drawing hundreds of entries annually from B2B marketing agencies and clients throughout the U.S. and Canada, BMA’s 28th Annual Pro-Comm Awards continues a long-standing tradition of acknowledging excellence in business-to-business marketing. Pro-Comm is the oldest and most respected business-to-business marketing competition, recognizing outstanding communications in 44 distinct categories. Entrants who created, produced, published, aired and/or mailed communications directed to business, industry or the professions in calendar year 2002 are eligible to win. “Young Company is pleased to have received this prestigious award from the Business Marketing Association,” said Bart Young, CEO of Young Company. “The award recognizes not only the strengths of the agency, but also the remarkable Velocium products from Northrop Grumman Space Technology.”
