In collaboration with associated European, Asian and South American agencies, Young Company has been awarded the U.S. marketing of advertising and PR for Brazilian company WEG Electric Motors.

WEG, at two billion dollars in annual sales, is the largest producer of electric motors, drives and controls in South America. With ambitions of becoming a truly global brand, the company conducted an extensive review of business-to-business agencies with global capabilities. BBN The Business Branding Network, headquartered in the United Kingdom, was selected based on expertise and international coverage. With over 1,500 employees working out of 26 agencies, BBN is the largest B2B agency network in the world.

Young Company prepared several spec campaigns emphasizing the efficiency and environmental benefits of WEG products. Duties will include all creative for the U.S. market, media planning and placement, distributor support, trade show assistance and public relations. Global budget is set at $10 million.
