Best Ad in The Issue Award Goes To Samsung – February 1, 2012

BEST AD IN THE ISSUE AWARD GOES TO SAMSUNG

In a recent study by eSchool Media, 385 professionals in the education community participated in the Reader Reaction Survey to give their honest opinion on recent ads within eSchool Media. Eighteen ads appeared in the November/December 2011 issue of eCampus News and were evaluated by the magazine’s readers in the study. Some key competitors were IBM, ADT Security Services, ViewSonic Corp., and Mitsubishi Electric’s. Our client, Samsung Digital Presenters, scored the highest in all three areas of judging; design, messaging and overall effectiveness.

The Samsung SDP-960 ad was designed to show that the wide body of the document camera can handle jumbo images for a wide shooting area. This is perfect for any classroom discussion or activity. Some described the ad as an attention catcher that gets them to read more. The document camera is useful for presenting oversized objects or documents to large audiences to display incredible detail.

“This advertiser is clever and understands the importance of humor in advertising,” says Chancellor of a school. Even a technology director said, “The picture captured my attention and had me mentally comparing our current product to this one.” This is exactly want an ad agency wants to hear.
